In this week's session, we will feature a couple artists who i heard for the first time last week including Active Child, DJDT, and Mike Posner. Of course, a lot of great music to look back on in '09 but defly want to highlight a couple of my most highly anticipated records in the new year such as the return of Field Music and Beach House. We will also highlight a flooded week of great live music in Los Angeles including some of my new local faves ; Active Child and Spring Summer (Jennifer Furches) who will be playing at a previewed installment of the New Noise Weekly Wednesdays at Bar Lubitsch, which we are proud to help present; The Production power of The Glitch Mob headlines the El Rey, The indie-rock stalwarts known as The Steelwells will start their new monthly residency at Silverlake Lounge tonite, and you will get a couple chances to see local garage rockers Dirt Dress. You also don't want to miss out on opportunities to see rare performances from touring artists Lymbyc Systym at the Bootleg as well as Tune-Yards and Sic Alps supporting Atlas Sound and Sonic Youth respectively.
