- Bob Dylan @ Capitol Theater (SOLD OUT) - Dylan breaks in the newly renovated Capitol Theater ; this and his upcoming show at the Barclay Center may be one of his last visits to the Big Apple

- Andy Roddick (USA) vs. Juan Martin Del Potro (Argentina) @ US Open (Arthur Ashe Stadium - 7pm) on ESPN2 and live stream on US Open Website - Roddick has announced that this will be the last tennis tournament of his career and now he's the last american standing in the only US grandslam. NY crowd is gonna be pumped. 

Wednesday - September 5th
- TEEN (Record Release), Acrylics and Bizi Gara @ Glasslands - great sound from this new psychedelic girl group ; the video for "Electric" does justice to the greatness of this song. Great chance to see these girls in a small venue before they tour with Ariel Pink and turn some heads.
