Lemon Sun are four lads and a lady who coalesce to form a star of molten rock & roll at the center of LA's sonic solar system. They are led by charismatic singer Rob Kolar and Chris Knight (bass) and accompanied by sassy/sexy guitarist/keyboardist Melissa Dougherty, el gigante drummer Nick Rucker and guitarist Mike Shapiro. They have played at many of LA's best venues sharing stages with the likes of the Cold War Kids, The Killers, and other LA staples including Silversun Pickups, Monsters Are Waiting, and Run Run Run. Speaking of LA's best venues, Lemon Sun have released live recordings from their residency at the echo so go to Spaceland Recordings to order a copy and get a taste for their energetic brand of psychedelic rock influenced by the classics.
