Madonna - Louis Vuitton Ad Campaign

So while Madonna's personal life is a constant source of tabloid fodder, here's something that she can be proud of. A new ad campaign for Louis Vuitton is about to hit magazines next Feb, but a few choice photos have been released online. It was a spur of the moment idea by Marc Jacobs, LV's creative director, who after watching her concert in Paris, came up with the idea of using the style icon for their next fashion advertising campaign.

The photographs, taken by her friend, acclaimed photographer Stephen Meisel, reflect a distinct Parisian theme (although shot on location at restaurant Figaro on N. Vermont in Los Angeles), and could almost be advertising the material girl herself. I love the mix of vintage with modern day Parisian setting, with great composition, and colours that totally re-inforce the LV brand.

The initial images will focus on slouchy bags in monogram canvas and monogram-embossed leather, along with ethnic-inspired sandals, bangles and sexy ready-to-wear.

Looks like all that yoga is paying off...
