Movie Trailer Mondays - Bryan Singer and Tom Cruise's "Valkyrie"

"Valkyrie" is the long awaited release from Tom Cruise's newly relaunched version of the United Artists studio. The film is directed by Bryan Singer of "Usual Suspects" and "X-men" fame and looks to utilize Singer's strength in the suspense genre. The film tells the true story of German Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, one of the chief members of the plot to assassinate Hitler and overthrow the Nazi regime from the inside out. The historical aspect of the film is definitely intriguing- I once saw a low budget TV movie about the same subject matter and it'll be interesting to see what tens of millions of dollars will let you do. While there's been much talk of delays and problems with positioning this film, it looks like the final product is set to deliver. Hopefully Bryan Singer can make up for the god awful "Superman Returns" and hopefully Tom Cruise will continue with the good direction and comeback he made in "Tropic Thunder":
