The Morning Benders are a youthful indie-pop rock quartet from Berkeley, CA, founded by lead singer/guitarist Chris Chu. They've developed quite a following after the release of their debut LP, Talking Through Tin Cans this past Spring and are currently getting ready to play at both the Monolith and Treasure Island festivals in September before a brief tour with Ra Ra Riot and several Puma In-stores this October. The Benders have recently offered The Bedroom Covers, an album featuring new interpretations of some of their favorite tunes from yesteryear including songs of Fleetwood Mac, The Cardigans, The Ronettes, Roy Orbison and many more recorded on a laptop in their apartment.
