Ever since catching Syracuse's Ra Ra Riot on Halloween night of the 2006 CMJ music conference in New York, i've been eagerly anticipating the indie rock band's debut record. Well ...the rest of their devoted followers and I won't have to wait much longer as The Rhumb Line hits stores next Tuesday through Barsuk Records ; featuring a clever cover of Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" and one of my personal faves "Ghost Under Rocks". They are currently touring through Europe but will make their way to almost every major city in the US this Fall so be sure to check their myspace for dates.
