Classic Music Video - Jeru the Damaja's "Ya Playin' Yourself"

Here's one out of the mid 90s hip hop bag- Jeru the Damaja's "Ya Playin' Yourself" music video. The track was produced by DJ Premier, as was the entire full length album Wrath of the Math. This came out of nowhere in my head, but it was featured on one of my favorite mixtapes of all time (DJ Kinetic aka Brian Zarin's first full length mix on the wheels of steel). Lean back and enjoy- the video features the obligatory mid-nineties hip hop kung fu theme:

A LostTrack - "Us Placers" - by Lupe, Kanye & Pharrell (and Thom Yorke)

A pretty cool video to a very cool song that was initially on the mixtape promoting Lupe's most recent LP. I'd say it was super cool instead of pretty cool, but the concept was already done in Biggie's video below:

A "LostTrack" - Kavinsky's 'Testarossa Overdrive'

Hola. I'm going to keep this one short and sweet. Kavinsky's "Testarossa Overdrive" is a track that we here at FoundTrack like to refer to as a "LostTrack." With the hundreds of tracks that we go through every month to pick the 20 or so that we feature on the mix, we're obviously not able to fit everything. Sometimes a track just doesn't fit with the tone of the mix, or the timing just isn't right.

Earlier this summer we really wanted to feature this track by Kavinsky. Well, now thanks to the link to this video I found on Kanye's blog, here for your listening and viewing pleasure is the video to "Testarossa Overdrive":
