1961 250 GT SWB Spyder California up for Auction

Classic Ferrari fans have something to look forward to - the Italian super car maker will be hosting RM Auctions' Ferrari: Leggenda e Passione sale at their Pininfarina facility, featuring some of their original and best condition cars. The car pictured above is the 1961 250 GT SWB Spyder California that was owned by actor James Coburn. Better make sure you put that Federal tax rebate credit aside - this curvy black beauty is estimated at $4.6 to $5.9 million.

Roen X Medicom Toy VCD "Crown Mickey"

So I've never been a big fan of those Japanese vinyl figures that everyone seems to be crazy over, and I've never been that big a Disney fan either. That said, I've always had a fascination with crowns (see below) and for that reason alone I think this figure is pretty dope. The piece is a collaboration between collectible toy figure maker Medicom and Japanese fashion brand Roen and Mickey mouse looks pretty fly rockin' his cool colorway and blingin' headwear.

Available for pre-order at SideShow Collectibles

** Mickey's crown ain't got nothin' on V's:

RIM introduces the new Blackberry Bold

RIM, makers of the "Crackberry" have introduced their new model, the "Blackberry Bold." It's the first major new edition in nearly 2 years, and looks like it's going to be another hit amongst the bberry aficionados.

The new model features more internal memory, an improved keyboard, a faster processor and an improved screen and graphics. I'm loving the design aesthetic and casing- too bad the metal rim is plastic though. It also has GPS, 3G High Speed data, Wi-fi and more. While I have to admit that Apple's iPhone is pretty damn cool, the Blackberry still is the more functional of the two devices... find me anyone that can type faster on an iPhone than me on my blackberry and I'll give you $100.

All you AT&T and T-mobile kids should be getting it in the next few months- all of us Sprint and Verizon folks are probably going to have to wait til early '09.

Batman Costume for Your Baby

This is the first bit of clothing my future son is going to adorn. My future wife is going to be totally vetoed on all baby apparel decisions. My batman baby is totally going to woop your baby's ass if they try and cause any trouble.

Someone, please leave a comment if you know where I can score one of these. Until such time, go watch "The Dark Knight" trailer and countdown the days until it comes out... with catastrophically bad movies like "Speed Racer" in theaters, the day couldn't come sooner.

Addictive TV's Iron Man Remix

Addictive TV is an awesome group based out of the UK that is hired by marketers to "remix" video such as movie trailers, music videos and commercials to make a more viral and unique product out of the original. Take a look at this remix of the Iron Man Trailer they did that ends up turning all the sound affects and visuals into a new electro/breakbeat/hiphop beat:

A little more on Addictive TV in their own words:

We're the London based audio/visual artists and DJ/producers known for our film remix cut-up work - particularly our breakbeat remix of The Italian Job that landed us work for tinseltown. In 2006 we remixed the Antonio Banderas film Take the Lead creating an audiovisual dance track viral for the films promo campaign. The viral also won an award from Adland, the advertising industry website and online archive of commercials.

You can checkout some of the work mentioned above at Addictive's Myspace page.

Linda Farrow Vintage x Raf Simons Sunglasses

I was turned onto Linda Farrow Vintage a few months ago and featured a pair of their crazy vintage sunglasses in another post (about Neptune's and Bathing Ape protégés the Teriyaki Boys). I have to say I initially thought their stuff was on the crazier side, but these frames are pretty rad. The Linda Farrow Gallery of vintage sunglasses has blown up and gained tons of notoriety ever since 2000 eyeglass designs by her son Simon Jablon were discovered. This particular pair is a collaboration with contemporary men's fashion designer Raf Simons. I'd definitely rock these guys hardcore if anyone wants to get me pair.

Just like the Nom de Guerre x Oliver Peoples frames we featured yesterday, these will be available soon at Oki-ni.
