LOVE YOU LONG TIME

Love you Long Time got the party started right and swiftly with a guest appearance from a massive 80's boombox to accompany their keytar and vivacious vocals on the vocoder. They just moved out to LA from Utah and are already making a name for themselves so let's make sure to give them a warm welcome and continue to support them at their upcoming shows including this Saturday at the Knitting Factory. Oh and this is pretty crucial..if you happen to be in Utah this Fall, they will be opening it up for MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice.

BEDTIME FOR TOYS
Bedtime For Toys of course killed it once again and opened their set with an homage to Prince. They played all of their classic cuts including "Cold Fever" but gave us a special treat debuting their new rendition of Earth Wind & Fire's "September" with Ladies Man Kenan Moore dropping the drum thunder in honor of his father's legendary band. The word on the streets is that The Toys are working on a covers record with some very special guests so stay tuned. In the meanwhile, their digital catalog was just released yesterday on itunes so get it while it's hot here.

2AM CLUB

2am Club came with the raucous once again and overwhelming support from their faithful. We'd like to thank them for asking us to get involved and putting together such a great series of shows at the Derby. They are currently working on new material in norcal with producer Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads, but will be playing a number of shows throughout the summer including a 4th of July Party on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Check out their hit "Flashing Room" on our July compilation.

DJ KNEWJACK
Gracias also goes out to the grandmaster DJ KnewJack as well for dropping the hotness once again on the turntables between bands. Can't get enough of his disco madness? Then listen to his Behold the Spartacus mix and stay tuned for his second installment of his monthly DJ mixtapes on this very here blog.
